Principal Mechanical Specialist

As a Principal Mechanical Specialist, you will lead efforts of internal and external thermal development teams in all development project activities. Starting from system architect stage, you will proactively engage to take design coordination, including risk assessments, quality goal evaluations, and well-organized planning to meet design requirements.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Take charge of thermal development activities with cross-functional teams on AI data center and campus switches and components.

  • Supports and influences integration of thermal strategy across technical disciplines internally and externally.

  • Viewed internally and externally as a thermal technology and tools expert, driving optimized performance between thermal requirement and acoustic requirement.

  • Generates new process and specification to meet newly developed technology trends.

Requirements

  • A Master's degree in mechanical or thermal engineering with 6-8 years of experience in networking switch product design.

  • Sophisticated knowledge of mechanical, thermal, and performance interactions.

  • Excellent working knowledge of thermal engineering and design guidelines.
