Senior Software Architect

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Senior Principal Engineer to join our Firmware Engineering team in Taipei. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and delivering the analysis, design, programming, debugging, troubleshooting, or modification of software for firmware applications.
Our team oversees programming activities involving analog and digital hardware as well as software operating systems. You will participate in the preparation, review, and analysis of software requirements and specifications. Additionally, you will participate in the creation of design, functional, technical, and/or user documentation, as needed.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for BIOS/Software/Driver management for assigned projects.
- Participates in the preparation, review, and analysis of software requirements and specifications.
- Participates in the creation of design, functional, technical, and/or user documentation, as needed.
- Provides ODMs and vendor's assessment for new product development, and manages ODMs and vendors for software development, issue management for root causing, resolution and closure through the entire cycles.
- Clearly communicates project issues and status.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or related field.
- 12+ years of software development experience.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Familiar with x86, ARM, Windows, and Linux OS/driver architecture.
