Firmware Engineering Role Overview

Developing cutting-edge firmware is crucial for producing innovative products. As a Firmware Senior Engineer, you will be part of a team that leads and delivers the analysis, design, programming, debugging, and modification of software for firmware applications.

The team oversees programming activities involving analog and digital hardware as well as software operating systems. You will have opportunities to influence product development at all stages.

In short, you will use the latest technology to modify existing solutions and develop new software and firmware solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and development of BIOS software using various technologies such as programming languages, compilers, assemblers, debuggers, and other tools.

  • Closely work with ODM partners and software engineers to deliver high-quality BIOS for complex systems.

  • Participate in product development from planning to testing. Good candidates should be proactive in managing their work, identifying risks, and delivering high-quality software.

About This Opportunity

We are looking for individuals with a strong background in electronic engineering or computer science who can bring their expertise to this role. A bachelor's degree and 5+ years of current software development experience are required.

You should have hands-on experience in full life cycle software development, including creating specifications, requirements reviews, and code development. Working with external teams to drive creation of new feature requirement specifications is also essential.
