We are seeking a highly skilled Display Systems Engineer to join our team at Supply Chain Resources Group.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.

Job Description

As a Display Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of display modules for consumer electronics. This includes defining optical specifications, test plans, and methodologies, as well as working with suppliers and cross-functional teams to drive decisions for best display module design.

You will also support display color calibration processes and solutions, HDR and image quality evaluation, and validate display optical performance through visual inspection and data analysis. Additionally, you will identify risks, track and resolve issues, and design and integrate new display technologies into products from prototype phase to mass production.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Masters degree in Physics, Optical, Photonics, Color Science, Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in display design for consumer electronics.
  • Experience in display module optical design and architecture, system integration, test, debugging and analysis.
  • Experience with designing display module with display technologies such as LCD, backlights, AMOLED.
  • Ability to perform and design DOE, data analysis, SPC control, yield improvement, root cause investigation, FACA, quality control.
  • Knowledge of display metrology, photometry, and colorimetry.
  • Experience in working with display vendors, ODMs and CMs, as well as JDM development.
  • Track-record of ownership in designing and delivering consumer products.
Preferred Qualification
  • In-depth knowledge of AMLCD CF, TFT, LC cell, or AMOLED material, design and production process.
  • Expert in display optical performance related fields such as color science, CF design, LEDs, backlight films.
  • Experience with optical simulation models with tools such as Lightools, ZEMAX, Tracepro.
  • Experience in large data analysis tools such as JMP, Tableau.
  • Project management, written and verbal communication skills and people skills.
