Job Overview

Dell is looking for a talented Firmware Development Manager to join our Firmware Engineering team in Taipei. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading software management for assigned projects, participating in the preparation, review, and analysis of software requirements and specifications, and creating design, functional, technical, and/or user documentation as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for BIOS/Software/Driver management for assigned projects.
  • Participates in the preparation, review, and analysis of software requirements and specifications.
  • Creates design, functional, technical, and/or user documentation as needed.
  • Provides ODMs and vendor's assessment for new product development, and manages ODMs and vendors for software development, issue management for root causing, resolution and closure through the entire cycles.
  • Clearly communicates project issues and status.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or related field.
  • 12+ years of software development experience.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Familiar with x86 ,ARM ,Windows and Linux OS/driver architecture.
