Job Summary

The Dell Software Engineering team is seeking a highly skilled Principal Software Engineer to join our team in Taipei. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing sophisticated systems and software solutions based on customer business goals, needs, and general business environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the design and architecture of high-quality, complex systems and software/storage environments.
  • Prepare, review, and evaluate software/storage specifications for products and systems.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of test strategies for complex software products and systems/storage products and systems.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 10+ years of work experience in Windows Driver and Software development, with kernel device driver experience in AI, system devices, and Windows services.
  • Ability to debug and guide others to debug flexible, scalable, and complex programs using written or verbal design specifications.
  • Deep proficiency in C/C++ with a solid grasp of the Windows Driver Foundation (WDF), Windows Driver Model (WDM), AI architecture, Windows Operating System, and Kernel Debug.
  • Experience in software/driver development/programming with Python, Shell Scripting, C#, C++, and Java.
  • Knowledgeable in Windows security features and driver signing processes, with MSFT Windows Driver development and deployment experience.

Preferred Requirements

  • 10+ years of related experience.
  • Experience with handling multiple projects in NPI/Sustain based on different operating systems, tools, and hardware platforms.
