Job Summary
  • Seek by personal example to inspire students and staff in ethical living.
  • Assist, and work under the direction of, the classroom teacher as needed. This may include any or all of the following:
    • Assist individual students and/or groups who need additional help.
    • Listen to reading groups.
    • Assist the classroom teacher, technology coordinator and/or librarian with research projects.
    • Assist with guided practice checking.
    • Help prepare/type students' stories/articles, quizzes, tests, project guidelines, etc.
    • Check classroom papers, workbooks, etc.
    • Photocopy classroom materials.
    • Laminate materials.
    • Create and/or take down bulletin boards.
    • Monitor recess duty.
    • Proof reading/writing.
    • Run errands as deemed appropriate.
    • Other miscellaneous tasks.
Qualifications:
  • Demonstrate a continuing sense of service in working at Morrison Academy
  • Possess experience and skills necessary for working as an assistant to the classroom teacher
  • Agree to abide by the decisions of the Board and administration of Morrison Academy
  • Meet necessary ROC government requirements for employment
Work Requirements: Hours will be determined as needed. A full- time position would be 40 hours/week. Salary Range: See Temporary Workers Wage Schedule or current Morrison Academy Expatriate Personnel Handbook based on non-head-of-household benefits.
