As the Medical Advisor, your primary responsibility is to stay current with medical practices, medications, and trends within the relevant therapeutic area. You will serve as a key liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring that the latest medical and scientific insights are incorporated into our strategies. Your role will focus on supporting the brand strategy by executing the annual medical plan and providing input that bridges clinical research with commercial initiatives. You will play a crucial role in effectively communicating complex scientific information to marketing, sales, and other departments to ensure company-wide alignment.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement medical strategies to expand product features, identify future opportunities, and support long-term strategic goals.
  • Manage non-interventional studies and investigator-initiated studies while maintaining compliance with local and company standards.
  • Design and execute engagement plans for external experts and stakeholders in accordance with overall brand strategy.
  • Guide and mentor Medical Science Liaisons in planning and managing their expert engagement within the therapeutic areas.
  • Maintain open communication with global and regional medical teams to ensure the availability of the latest medical and scientific updates.
  • Lead medical projects related to new product launches to ensure readiness and success.
  • Continuously update internal teams with relevant data on product features, disease treatment, and industry trends to enhance product knowledge and support functions such as training.

Requirements:

  • An MD or Ph.D. degree is required, with at least 3 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare sectors, preferably in the field of mental health.
  • Experience with product launches is advantageous and previous experience in team management is preferred.
  • Strategic mindset with strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Ability to work independently, self-driven with a dynamic and extroverted approach.
  • Experience in clinical research and trial management, with the ability to engage with key opinion leaders and investigators.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey information clearly across various audiences.
  • Budget management and resource allocation skills are required.
