We are seeking a skilled and passionate IT/Computer Teacher who will be responsible for teaching computer classes to students in grades 1-12, managing the school's IT infrastructure, and leading the school's Audio-Visual (AV) Club. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both education and IT support, with the ability to engage students across a wide age range and handle technical issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Teaching:

Plan and deliver engaging computer classes for students in grades 1-12, covering topics such as basic computer skills, programming, internet safety, and digital literacy.
Develop curriculum and lesson plans that align with educational standards and cater to different learning styles and levels.
Assess student progress through assignments, projects, and exams, and provide constructive feedback.
Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and interest in technology.
IT Support:

Serve as the school's IT technician, responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting the school’s computer systems, networks, and teacher computers.
Manage the school's Internet service, ensuring reliable connectivity and network security.
Oversee the school's webmail service, including setting up and maintaining email accounts for staff and troubleshooting email-related issues.
Provide technical support to teachers and staff, assisting with hardware and software issues, and ensuring that all IT systems are functioning optimally.
AV Club Leadership:

Lead and mentor the school's Audio-Visual (AV) Club, guiding students in the operation of AV equipment, video production, and other multimedia projects.
Organize and oversee AV-related activities and events, such as school presentations, live broadcasts, and video editing sessions.
Encourage student creativity and collaboration in the AV Club, providing opportunities for them to develop technical and artistic skills.
Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Education, or a related field.
Teaching certification or relevant teaching experience.
Strong technical knowledge and experience in IT support, including networking, hardware, and software troubleshooting.
Ideal Candidate Would Also Have:

Experience in education, particularly in teaching computer science or related subjects to a wide age range.
Experience/Willingness to teach Bible to grades 6 through 12
Experience with AV equipment and multimedia production is a plus.
