QAQC Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA/QC Lead to join our dynamic team in Taiwan. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in engineering, with experience in electrical, chemistry, or material engineering, and a proven track record as a People Manager/Supervisor. This role is crucial for ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance in our offshore wind manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Quality Assurance and Control:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain QA/QC systems and procedures to ensure product quality meets industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee and coordinate quality control activities including inspections, testing, and documentation to verify compliance with specifications and standards.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective action processes for quality issues and non-conformances.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address and resolve quality-related concerns.

• People Management:

  • Supervise and mentor a team of QA/QC professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
  • Provide training and development opportunities for QA/QC staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and manage personnel issues in alignment with company policies.

• Engineering Expertise:

  • Apply technical expertise in electrical, chemistry, or material engineering to guide QA/QC processes and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure that product designs and materials meet quality standards and specifications.

• Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of quality control activities, test results, and inspection reports.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on QA/QC performance, trends, and improvements to senior management.

• Compliance and Standards:

  • Ensure compliance with international quality standards, industry best practices, and local regulations.
  • Stay updated on industry developments and advancements in quality control methodologies.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemistry, Material Science, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a QA/QC leadership role, with a strong background in people management and supervision.
• Technical Skills: Proven expertise in QA/QC processes, quality management systems, and engineering principles related to electrical, chemistry, or material engineering.
• Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team effectively.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
